30-30 Ministries offers completely free hunting and fishing camps for students in grades 6–12. Lodging, meals and a full weekend of outdoor adventure are provided at no cost to campers.
Our camps are intentionally limited to small groups, allowing us to give each camper a safe, personal and high-quality experience. During the weekend, campers enjoy time in the outdoors while being encouraged through the message of the Gospel in a relaxed camp atmosphere.
Since 2011, we have hosted camps featuring deer, turkey, rabbit, hog, duck, bear and quail hunting, as well as trapping, trout, shark, crappie, striper, bowfishing and catfish adventures.
Camp opportunities are generally posted four to six weeks before each camp begins. Because space is limited, campers are selected through a random drawing. Submitting an application does not guarantee placement.

The Dooly County Deer Camp has a long history with host Harmony Baptist Church. The first nine Camps, from 2015-2022, were hosted at Redhawk Plantation, and hunting took place on nearby properties in Dooly, Wilcox and Pulaski counties.
In 2023, Harmony provided the lodging for Campers by allowing them to stay in Sunday School rooms. In 2025, the Camp changed to a Doe Camp when Georgia DNR implemented a special early October antlerless only weekend. With so many farmers in the community the Camp allowed for a good way to remove a few deer, while providing an excellent opportunity for hunters to fill their freezers early. A CAMO Sunday Service has always been held at Harmony Baptist Church.
Bear Camp began the weekend of Oct. 12-14, 2012 at North Georgia Christian Camp. However, the thought of hosting a Camp was planted in the heart of Dale Thomas when he attended a turkey hunt through God’s Great Outdoors Ministry at Crossroads Baptist Church in Eatonton the weekend of March 20-22, 2009 with his daughter, Maggie. When Dale left the Camp, he told Brad Gill, 30-30 Ministries’ Executive Director, “We need to do one of these back home.” Dale and Brad put their minds and talents together and worked with a large group of hunters and anglers in the Habersham County area to host hunting and fishing events under God’s Great Outdoors Ministry from 2009-2011 before transitioning into 30-30 Ministries Camps.
The first eight Emanuel County Camps—which included seven Deer Camps and one Turkey Camp—were hosted at Hawhammock Baptist Church, while Campers hunted nearby properties. Beginning in 2022, lodging and some deer hunting was moved to nearby Flat Creek Lodge. Hawhammock still provided the necessary manpower to host the Camp and included their usual CAMO Sunday Service with their congregation as a part of the weekend Camp.
